I can identify with the “zeal” in New Zealand. I’ll consider this a challenge wrapped in an invitation, where I’ll try underground cave rafting, traverse along thermal areas, and of course, tackle the mythical, magical Contiki decathlon. When I catch my breath, there’s time to absorb Maori culture, island-hop in Wellington, and gawk curiously at the Fox Glacier, a beautiful natural wonder. Included are tours of Waitomo, Rotorua, Huka Falls, Taupo, Tongariro National Park, Wellington, Picton, Kaikoura Coast, Arthur’s Pass, Hokitika, Franz Josef and Fox Glacier, Haast Pass, Queenstown, Milford Sound, Lake Ohau and Lake Tekapo.
